Hotel de charme 3 étoiles rénové en 2018 avec la climatisation. Très beau patio pour le dîner en soirée. Exellent accueil de l'équipe de restauration et de Madame Muller la propriétaire de l'etablissement . Une adresse que je recommande pour le rapport qualité prix.

Cet hôtel m'avait été recommandé par des amis et je le recommanderai à nouveau. Pons est une jolie petite ville calme, une bonne étape entre la Bretagne et Toulouse. Je ne m'attendais pas à avoir un repas aussi raffiné. Tout est vraiment parfait. Direction et personnel sont très aimables et simples.

We've been coming to Hotel du Bordeaux since 2011 enroute to Spain and have never been disappointed and look forward to each visit and stay.

average Rating	5/5	Hotel du Bordeaux has had a "face lift" with new bathrooms with GROHE fixtures, yet it retains the beauty of a bygone era. Lovely!
Price	5/5	Crisp linen, comfortable bed and TV.
Room	5/5	We discovered Hotel du Bordeaux when driving home to England and wanted dinner before kitchens closed. Seeing a sign for Cognac, we left the motorway and time was running out the stopped in Pons. What a lovely small village with the 33 meter "Keep of Pons" standing guard.
Location	5/5	The châtelaine, Frau Müller, keeps an eagle eye on the cleanliness and adds special touches such as hand towels in the toilets insread of paper. Lovely!
Cleanliness	5/5	The restaurant and staff are warm and friendly.
Breakfast	5/5	Fresh croissants, Cannelés (a favourite of mine), yogurts and French butter! Delicious
Restaurant	5/5	We had traffic difficulties all the way from England to Pons on Valentines Day 2019 and concerned we may miss our dinner reservations, but arrived at 20.50 just in time to sit down and enjoy the Valentines menu and a much needed bottle of Chablis. The menu was a clever marriage of French with a sprinkling of German Gemütlichkeit. Very nice indeed.

For 5 years we have been customers of the hotel, stopping once or twice as we travel to Spain - it is the halfway stop over. Frau Müller is welcoming and we thoroughly enjoy our stay. Pons is such an old town, steeped in history and picturesque. The hotel and restaurant are indeed French, sprinkled with Frau Müller's Teutonic hand - most excellent.

Séjour de trois nuits en soirée étape en déplacement professionnel fin octobre qui c'est très bien passé.Accueil de Me Muller et de son équipe très chaleureuse.L’hôtel est bien situé car il y a des petits commerces à proximité.Pas trop de problème pour garer son véhicule à proximité de l’hôtel. Bien que les horaires du petit déjeuner ne convenaient pas à mes horaires de travail, ils ont été préparé à ma convenance. La chambre une personne n'est pas tés grande mais fonctionnelle et calme, ce qu'il faut pour se reposer et passer un bon séjour. L’équipe de l’hôtel est très aimable et bien sur ne pas oublier de remercier le chef pour ses différents plats (excellent...) proposés tout au long de mon séjour. Merci pour la gentillesse de toute l’équipe de l’hôtel et bonne continuation.

Nous y venons une fois par an depuis des années car c'est une halte idéale quand nous remontons du Sud-Ouest vers Paris. Accueil sympathique de Cornelia qui sait admirablement combiner les talents gastronomiques français avec sa rigueur germanique. Le menu du soir Bib à 33€ est un régal. Les chambres n'ont rien d'extraordinaire mais sont propres et correctes. Les croissants du petit-déjeuner, comme le pain sont remarquables.

Tout est quasiment parfait mais l'absence d'insonorisation des murs dans les chambres, c'est rédibitoire... Quel dommage, cela gache tout ! Mais une chambre c'est fait pour dormir : C'est la base de l'hôtellerie.

incredible! It was amazing and welcoming. The team did everything possible to give a homely feel and fulfill all our requests. In the rooms there was slightly perfume which I personaly did not like, but opening the windown did the job. Because the building is historical and old, the wardrobe was not useful at all, but I had my suitcase, so again it was not a real problem.

Ein Haus auf das ich mich immer wieder freue. Sehr wohltuende Atmosphäre (besonders auch im Innenhof), stilvoll eingerichtet, äusserst kreative Küche (bei vier Besuchen jedesmal neu, keine Wiederholung und äusserst schmackhaft. Kombinationen, die ich sonst noch nirgends angetroffen habe) und das Ganze perfekt serviert.

Un peu surpris par l'extérieur de l'hôtel, mais une fois franchi le pas de la porte, on se laisse gagner par le calme et la douceur de cet hôtel plein de charme(s). C'est probablement Madame Müller qui semble communiquer ce calme et cette douceur par son accueil discret . Le ravissant patio, le restaurant, le grand escalier qui mène aux chambres..... on a l'impression d'être un peu hors du temps, d'être sereins, certains de passer une bonne nuit ! Un seul regret, n'y avoir passé qu'une seule nuit et ne pas avoir fait plus ample connaissance avec la propriétaire......et quant aux repas un délice le soir, un plaisir aussi le matin !

Un petit hôtel très agréable, dans une petite ville au coeur de la Saintonge, extrêmement bien placé donc entre le cognac et le littoral. Les chambres sont propres, la literie plutôt confortable. Cependant et je pense que cela doit être difficile la façade a un urgent besoin de réfection. Un hôtel qui vaut ses deux étoiles et un restaurant qui vaut sa place dans les guides gastronomiques. Le personnel est agréable. Mme Müller est d'abord timide puis très agréable, serviable et arrangeante.

Nous y retournerions sans hésiter en ayant la même chambre, qui était la plus grande. Cependant, si la climatisation pouvait mieux fonctionner et le parquet moins "craquer"... Le parking est le bienvenu mais pas génial comme système. En fait, rien que de petites choses !

Restaurant excellent, chambre très bien insonorisée, matelas parfait,salle de bains moyenne( petite fuite de la chasse d'eau et porte ne fermant pas) . En ce qui concerne le petit déjeuner on déplorera l'absence d'un bon pain ainsi que d'oeufs, et de yaourts bio mais un café très bon( 18€). Globalement trés satisfaisant avec parking facile et proche.

Malgré un passage très rapide, le temps d'une nuit, nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour au Bordeaux et ne manquerons pas d'y redescendre si l'occasion se présente.

Hotel de Bordeaux was a very welcome port in a storm, as I was unwell. It looks shabby on the outside, but offered comfort, peace, a good restaurant and interesting local sights. We shall certainly go back.

We had to be in Pons and this hotel met our requirements for the one night stay.

Soirée etape d'un bon niveau,a condition de ne pas prendre de vin(5 € le verre) et de café (4 € le café) (Il arrive trés souvant que le café ne soit pas facturé quand on ne prend pas de dessert,ce qui me parait raisonnable). Dommage que c'est etablissement de charme fasse sa marge sur les suplements (13% cafe et verre de vin ) Qu'en pensez vous,dans l'attente de votre retour Cordialement
